Building Automation and Controls 2015

Leveraging building automation and controls to improve energy efficiency, operational efficiency and value to property

The building automation and controls industry is rapidly growing with the global market valued at $29.78 billion in 2013 and expected to reach $55.48 billion by 2020. The Australian market is following this trend with increased levels of investment being funnelled into automation technology, especially within the commercial sphere.

Moreover, energy efficiency is currently the single most important factor in all building programs with the government implementing initiatives to push asset owners towards increased levels of energy efficiency.

With that in mind we are pleased to announce the launch of Building Automation and Controls 2015, which is the only conference in Australia to specifically focus on building automation and control systems, covering both retro-fit and new builds and being targeted to all stakeholders – that is, asset owners, consultants, contractors and vendors.

The Conference will cover the following issues:

  • Energy efficiency and sustainability through the use of HVAC, sensor and light technology etc to improve the quality of the building’s environment and achieve a competitive advantage in the building market.
  • Reducing cost through operational efficiency - this will focus on conducting effective monitoring and maintenance and using new technology with high ROI to control costs and increase profit margins.
  • Increasing value to consumers and property by implementing cutting-edge automation processes to make better use of building space, improve service to tenants and simultaneously increase building productivity.
